The Atlanta Falcons are celebrating their third straight win in a row, beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in overtime on Sunday.
The Falcons are 4-1 heading into the week, and are playing their fourth game in five days after hosting the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.
Atlanta was looking to move into first place in the NFC East with a win over the Lions.
That win snapped a four-game losing streak.
They had won three straight before that.
They have won eight straight in a series against the Lions, including last year’s game in which the Falcons won 35-10.
Falcons receiver Roddy White said he felt good about his performance against the Buccaneers.
White caught seven passes for 96 yards.
He was also sacked once.
White said he had some soreness in his knee, but was still able to play.
He said it was a good experience for him to get some time with the team.
“It was good to get out there with them and have a good workout,” White said.
“It was a great experience for me.
I’m glad I did it, and I’m happy to get back out there and play football.
We’ve got a great group of guys.”
The Bucs were led by safety Harrison Smith, who had six tackles.
He also had a sack, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup.
Tampa Bay was led by quarterback Jameis Winston, who threw for 434 yards and six touchdowns.
Winston was 7-of-15 passing for 120 yards and one touchdown.
The Buccaneers also had six interceptions.
Winston had a season-high three rushes for 16 yards.
