Smeharberson: Trump’s ‘biggest lie’ is his ‘bigest fraud’

By Smearberson and Brian Stelter – November 29, 2017 – 12:23:24Trump’s claim that he won the popular vote by nearly 3 million is “the biggest lie” of his career, Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., said Tuesday on MSNBC.

Blunt, who is chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, argued that Trump’s claims of victory are “unsubstantiated” and he believes Trump is “not honest with the American people.”

Trump’s “biggest fraud,” Blunt said, is the “big lie” that the Electoral College is not “rigged” and that he “won the popular votes by more than 3 million.”

Trump said the election is “rigging” in “certain states.”

“The election is being rigged,” he said.

“It’s rigged by the Democrats and by the media and the Democrats want to keep it rigged.”

Blunt pointed to Trump’s assertion that the electoral college “will be totally, totally in my favor.”

“That’s the biggest lie of his presidency,” Blut said.

Blum’s claim of victory “is the biggest fraud” of Trump’s presidency, Blunt added.

“That’s not true.”

“There’s no way that the election was going to be rigged.

There’s no evidence to suggest that,” Blum said.”

We don’t have a conspiracy theory here.

We know that the media is the most biased news organization in the world, so the fact that we don’t think it’s possible for the election to be stolen from the people who are supposed to be making the election, that’s just a fact,” Blun added.”

I think he’s dishonest,” Blurts statement added.

Blunts “bigest lie” is that Trump “was going to win the election,” Bluster said, adding that “there was no evidence of any fraud whatsoever.”

Bluster went on to say that “we are now witnessing the real beginnings of the end of American democracy,” referring to Trumps refusal to concede the election.

“It is now obvious that the outcome of this election was a farce and that this president is not fit to be president of the United States,” Blust said.

Bluster added that Trump is not the first president to lose the popular election.

“There’s been plenty of presidents who have lost elections,” Blurt said.
