The NHL has confirmed that the league’s Powerball live stream is not working properly in the US.
In an official statement, the NHL stated that the streaming service was experiencing problems during a live broadcast of the 2018 Powerball drawing.
“Due to the large number of people in the United States using the live streaming service, the live stream performance on the NHL website has been affected by issues in the live streams in the USA and Canada,” the league said.
The problem is believed to be related to the US-based NFL Network, which uses a different protocol for streaming the game, which is currently experiencing the same issue.
“While we are working on a fix, we have confirmed with the NHL that the NHL Live streaming service is not able to handle the massive number of users that are currently streaming the 2017 Powerball jackpot,” the NHL said.
“We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible, but we encourage all users to watch the 2017 jackpot live on their mobile devices.”
Thank you to all our fans who continue to play the NHL Playoffs live in their millions.
