MTV News has released its ‘Dance-A-Live’ Review, which covers the music video for ‘Dovey’s Paradise’, a track off the new EP by DJ Premier.

Dove’s Paradise has been described as a hip-hop mash-up that is a ‘soulful, soulful, disco track’, which is definitely a description you’d expect to see on a hip hop soundtrack.

Disco’, which was composed by Premier, features guests like Zara Larsson, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West, as well as guests like A$AP Rocky, Jaden Smith and Snoop Dogg.

In the video, Premier plays the beat for ‘Scoop’, a song he co-wrote with DJ Premier, with his two boys playing it on the dancefloor.’

We’re like, oh, this is dope,’ Premier told MTV News.

‘It’s really fun to play with that style of music and then just see where it takes us and where it might take you, and it’s really cool to just play with it.

He added: ‘That’s one of the best things about being a DJ, I can do things that are fun and unexpected.

I’m not just playing a song, I’m playing a beat, so that’s one thing that is really cool.

Premier has collaborated with DJ Shadow, Future, DJ Premier and more on the track.

‘Dance’ is the second track off Premier’s upcoming EP, titled Dope, which will be released on September 23.
